Choice Art at Southlands Art Centre

'Choice Art' (Christine, Joyce and Maureen) will be displaying their art work at Southlands from the 12th September. Come along and see Watercolour, Acrylic and M/M paintings. It will be free entry and the Art Centre will be open from 10am till 4pm every day until the 19th September.

One more week at the Village Cafe

Yep...only one more week and our paintings will be coming down at the Village Cafe. So don't miss out, come and see our art work before the times up. Art classes 4 Artlovers

The art class went really well yesterday, thanks to all those who came along, rain or shine!  Whilst teaching yesterday I was reminded of an art class that I would like to share with you.

 This class was taught with the idea of painting landscapes in watercolour. 

I thought the pebbles added an interesting texture and colour to the paintings.

The results are always wonderful and we really enjoy a good chin wag when we are painting. 

Occasionally we will take the project outside, unfortunately we have been unable to do this on the last class as the weather wasn't all that good.  But we always have a hot drink and biscuits to keep us going.

Painting with Watercolour etc... Facebook is back!!

From today I have access to our group 'Painting with Watercolour etc'  So I am now able to update it regularly. Visit our group on Facebook. I will keep you posted and let you know if there are any other technical hitches.

Village Cafe Hanging!

 
Christine and Joyce were hanging their paintings today at the Village Cafe.

So you can now go along and have a look at the art while you have some cake and tea.

 

The Cafe often displays paintings by different artists, so this is quite a nice place to have a cuppa if you are interested in art.  You can also purchase a painting if you really feel like treating yourself.

The paintings will be displayed until the 1st September.

Painting with Watercolour etc... our group on Facebook has had technical problems and I am unable to access it. If any members of Painting with Watercolour etc see this blog, we are related to this group, so please join us.
I have no access to Painting with Watercolour etc... so please don't take any notice of anything added as news to this group on Facebook. I will let you know if I re-gain access in the future.

New Art Classes @ Little Willows

Preperation for new art classes will be going ahead. They are going to be held in the Little Willows Shop in Pinner. Christine will let you know of further details when they are available.

Autumn Exhibition @ Southlands

Christine also has an Exhibition during the Autumn period in Southlands Art Centre.
Come along and look at the paintings displayed. It is not essential to book, but you can by using the events link on the right hand side of this blog.
 

Art Classes

Christine holds classes every last Thursday of each month. The classes are held in West Drayton. They are basic drop in classes and anyone is welcome. If you would like to book visit the website and contact page. We are also sending email alerts to people who are interested in the classes to remind them of the dates. Follow us for updated news on classes and whats happening during the classes. We will be writing about the projects taking place, so you know whats going on before you come to a class.
